Summer to Fall Transitional Basics From the #NSale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going strong! It remains open to the public from now through August 5th. So you still have a few more days to shop items at discounted prices. I wanted to share this super basic look that includes items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – that are transitional pieces you can wear now in the summer and then later for the fall/winter.

This look is almost a no-brainer. Black on black with a chambray shirt, some flats and a neutral bag. You can take that same look into fall, switching out the flats with cute booties and layer the chambray with a cardigan. That is why I love basics. And that is why if your closet needs some basic pieces, these are the items you should start with and build them up from there.

You may have heard me rave about these Zella leggings. I bought this pair from last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They’ve been through many washes, many workouts, much wear and they still look good as new! They are the most figure-sculpting pair of leggings I ever owned and you can’t beat the affordable price considering the high quality! They are also highly functional for workouts or for an athleisure running-around town look.

Another transitional piece that you need is this raw edge v-neck tee. This basic tee is light weight for summer and perfect for layering in the fall and winter months. It comes in multiple colors and with a $12 price tag, it makes sense to grab several in different colors. It is super soft and comfy – and is definitely a hot ticket item during this sale.

For sizing reference: Leggings – Small | V-Neck Top – XXS | Flats – Size 8
