Porch Decor and Fall Nails

It’s not too late to decorate your porch for fall and Thanksgiving! I am finally done decorating mine and wanted to share the final look to give you some inspiration. To be honest, I could have kept going, but had to draw a line in the sand and call it done (even though I am still missing a few items like a door wreath, an area rug, loveseat cushions, etc.). Who struggles with this – going down the decor rabbit hole? I love decor especially for this season, and let’s just say I am glad we don’t have a huge porch, otherwise I would decorate till Christmas.

This year I re-purposed old decor along with buying new items to complete the vision I had for the porch. My advice – shop your home first and see what you can re-purpose and then start building from there. I obviously did not buy everything all in one shot but have collected items over the years. I linked most of the items for you throughout the post and similar ones wherever I couldn’t find an exact match.

Front Door:

1. ‘Come Back With Pumpkin Spice’ doormat
2. I ordered this buffalo plaid layer to go underneath the doormat
3. ‘Give Thanks’ reversible sign – the kids love this one because they can switch it over to read ‘Trick or Treat’
4. Harvest Tricycle – I filled it with white decorative pumpkins and a flower arrangement similar to this one. You can re-purpose this tricycle as a planter too!
5. White Lanterns – I use these flameless candles.
6. I still need to get a wreath and I have my eye on this one.
7. Mason Jars Sconces – these have fairy lights inside them and are so pretty at night.

Sitting Area:
1. White Wicker Loveseat – still need to get a cushion for this.
2. Fall Decorative Pillows – Walmart, Target and Kirkland’s have the best selections – here, here, here and here.
3. Buffalo Plaid Pillow and Buffalo Plaid Throw
4. Straw Bale – found them the cheapest at Michael’s.
5. Decorative Sign – You can find similar just about anywhere.
6. Cylinder Glass Vase – my exact one is an old purchase and re-purposed from my house.
7. Decorative Pumpkins – I love the selection at Target here and here.
8. Wire Basket – linking a similar one here but you can recreate this idea with any basket and fill it with decorative pillows or pumpkins.

I purchased mums and real pumpkins from my local grocery store/garden center. You can always opt out for fake pumpkins that you can re-use year to year instead.

And finally for my fall nails – here are the dip colors from the pinkie to the thumb:
Birthday Suit, Britannia Mocha, Contemporary Dance, Birthday Suit, Britannia Mocha
