Ivory Ruffle Sleeve Top

The term “business casual” has evolved considerably over the past few decades, allowing for a more relaxed style in the workplace. You can dress up basic pieces and work them into your business casual wardrobe. Case and point – a basic tan skirt and an ivory ruffle-sleeve top – which by the way, tan and ivory together is such a timeless color combination.

I came across this simple and feminine top and grabbed it in two colors – ivory and blush. It also comes in black and mustard. It is dainty with ruffle sleeves and has a pretty v-neckline. The hem is low in the front and longer in the back. But you can still tuck the front hem easily if you need to.

You can style this top with dressy pants, skirts or jeans – or even layer it underneath a suit. While I do not think it is too see-through, I wore mine with a white jersey tank underneath.

And you may have seen this tan skirt before – because let’s be honest, in real life I wear my clothes multiple times 😊 This skirt is still a favorite of mine and is perfect for work.

For sizing reference, I am wearing a small in the top and size 2 in the skirt.

In other news, I am starting to share some tutorials with you on my Instagram highlights. This morning I added a mini-tutorial on how to cover up dark circles. Check it out and let me know if you would like to see more tutorials. I also have a full blog post dedicated to my full makeup routine here.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Be sure to subscribe to the blog and follow me on Instagram and Facebook.
